A2P (Act2Prevent)
ACT2PREVENT (A2P) is a dynamic social media campaign dedicated to raising awareness about Leprosy, its symptoms, and the persistent stigma surrounding the disease in Sri Lanka. Launched in response to the lack of awareness within the community regarding Leprosy, the campaign strives to educate the public and encourage early testing for Leprosy to prevent long-term complications such as disabilities and reduce community transmission. This initiative is a collaborative effort between the Anti-Leprosy Campaign (ALC) and the Alliance Development Trust (ADT), united by a shared vision. Through informative content, street interviews, social media awareness challenges and interactive content, ACT2PREVENT works to break down myths and misconceptions, and promote a future where Leprosy is no longer stigmatized, but understood and timely intervened.
